Tuesday`s English practice:

It was a good opportunity to review many of the contents we`ve studied all semester.
mmmm, I got really surprise when i was doing the causative exercises, "I sucks on it"´i thought... but at the end of the test i got 12/12 correct WOW!..it was today "GOAL REACH" nyahaha.

The final test is coming in no time.. I get better start studying now!!.

Last month... then... vacations!

In today`s reading newpapers!
(U.S. grocer restricts Chilean salmon)

I chose this topic; because, it seems to be a reality somehow connect it to my country
Salmon industry is one of the most profitable Businesses in Chile.
It provides job to thousand of people in the south of Chile especially in places such a Chiloe and Aysen to name a few.

The restriction of Chilean salmon sales, inside the U.S was the news that called my attention the most, because it affects Chile’s economy directly.

On the other hand, I do understand America’s concern about it, when they stated that the virus and detailed concerns had been analyzed by biologists and environmentalists.
According to the report the problems seems to be not only the elevated use of antibiotics on the Salmon’s industry, but also. The contaminate fishing water in salmon farms which could be producing illnesses in the fish.

Based on news I read in the three newspapers, I consider that New York Times is better than the others.
Firstly, the new vocabulary, and word use you can find is excellent.
Second, I did really like news papers which have links to go deeper on the piece of news you are reading, for example Multimedia links, full report and opinions from the reader about certain topic.

As a conclusion I would like to take a Joseph Addison Quote which says “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body”

Honestly,It was a great activity!, Even though I had to leave earlier, I really enjoy today class!

Today
I had a quite interesting experience
I went for shopping to a well-known supermarket, in "Las condes" district. (the "" sings is an irony though)

I was in the vegetables section, picking some oranges when suddenly I saw a 30’s years old woman "wearing sunglasses". She was talking to herfriend I suppose, right there next to me.
Her friend asked her, “How long will you stand your husband attitude?”
“I don’t know” the other girl reply.
“He doesn’t stop hitting you” her friend said

And then she answers “I want to go to the police, but I can’t, If I leave him, I will have no money, I don’t want to be poor”
Her friend looked at her, with a (O_O)(shocking) face.
I couldn’t avoid looking at her with the same expression.
After that, I picked my oranges, and walk away.

After I bought all I needed, and went to the cashier to pay, and I found again the two woman I saw before, and next to one of them there was a guy, who seemed to be her husband or Bf (based on the way he touch her). They looked quite happy, helping each other to put the things in bags.

I smile…wondering, how is possible that a pretty woman on her 30s can be so stupid?

One of the movies I did enjoy the most was The time (시간)
It was opened in 2006 directed by Kim Ki-Duk

It is a tragic-love movie, in which relationships play the main role, however it doesn’t take the nice and romantic part of relationship, but the jealous and obsessions inside a relationship.
How much we girls care about our appearance, and how extreme it could go~

After 2 years of relationship, the guy started looking at other girls. (seemed like)
Meanwhile the girl was absolutely in love. She started getting jealous, and worry.
But her fears to loose him were deeper. So she stay.

One of the scene which really shocked me was when they were on bed, and she said “I don’t care if you are thinking in other person, if you are with me it is ok”

It really call my attention the main character, a girl who was so so so much in love with her boyfriend, for that girl, nothing else was important except for this guy.
She could have done everything for him, and so she did. She decided to break up with him and disappear for 6 month to dramatically change her look, and become a new woman, with whom her boyfriend can again fall in love.

She came back to that city, but as an absolutely different person, she met the same guy, they fell in love.
But one day, she was on his house, and she found out, many pictures and letters of her, and then she realized that the guy had loved love her, only her all the time.

The end is not happy, but it gives you a very good moral to consider.

Today I realized that I’m a "Sophisticate" According to www.youruniverse.com

I don’t really believe on those kinds of WebPages, but this one said many things which were true.
It called my attention the accurate definition for every kind of personality, specially mine and some others friend`s.
It could be so nice to take some quiz and discover about others.
There are many things I wish I could know about other people,
This is an interesting webpage, even if what is written is just for fun; at least you can meet people, with same characteristics as yours.
